FAQ
Hail and well met traveler,

You are most welcome to the official website
for the
Fishers Renaissance Faire located in
beautiful Fishers, Indiana.  Join us as we create
a homage to our Sister City Billericay, England,
as it might have looked when Queen Elizabeth
dropped in for a visit as she traveled on her
annual progress throughout her realm.

In a year when most families are pinching
pennies and looking for value close to home
because of the economy and the price of gas,
the Fishers Renaissance Faire offers a whole
weekend of fun and excitement at a price
cheaper than a movie ticket for a whole day's
enjoyment.  Applaud over
100 performers on
our stages and lanes.
250 costumed
characters
educate and entertain.  Bustling
marketplaces overflow with unique products and
gifts, and hearty fare is served amongst the
many food vendor stalls. Children will enjoy a
special children's realm at the
Kids Karnivale,
and can be knighted or enobled by Her Majesty,
the Queen or become a Pirate and march in the
daily
Pirate Parade.
Don't forget to attend the twice daily joust with
our champion jousting troupe:
Knights of
Valour
, and cheer on skilled warriors and
knights as they clash in battle in Champions'
Arena, Norsey Field and Archer's Glen.

The faire serves a dual purpose.  The
Sister
Cities Association of Fishers, Indiana
presents
the faire as part of its ongoing commitment to
cultural understanding and diversity and is its
primary fundraiser.  The funds fuel programs
such as an international youth/teacher
exchange, a college scholarship for seniors at
Hamilton Southeastern and Fishers High
Schools, World Connection Clubs at high
schools and promoting international diversity in
the arts and culture of the community.  Sister
Cities Association of Fishers is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization supported by the Town
of Fishers and governed by an all-volunteer
board of Directors. It is also the official
representative of the town of Fishers in
long-term relationships with international
communities.  None of the volunteers involved
in the production of this faire nor in the Sister
Cities organization receive any remuneration for
their work.
We encourage you to stop by the Collegium to
get a better understanding of th Sister Cities
Association where you can meet guests from
our sister city, international exchange students
and also speak with Fishers students and
teachers about their study abroad experience
and find out more about
Billericay through the
ages.  You may also get more involved by
becoming either a sponsor or volunteer.

The Chairman of the Faire would like to thank
all of the hard-working members of the
committee for making the faire prossible, for
without these volunteers there would be no
faire.  The committee and the Sister Cities
Association would also like to thank all of our
sponsors -- past and present -- with special
thanks to the Town of Fishers for its generous
and ongoing support of our event.

So now, good patron, step back 400 yeras to
the age of Romance and Chivalry and enjoy the
Fishers Renaissance Faire!
